IST Clubs run in Fall, Winter, and Spring seasons Monday through Friday for Early Childhood through Upper School.

Art Club is a fun and creative space for kids to explore their imagination through art! Open to all skill levels, the club offers hands-on activities like drawing, painting, crafting, and more. Kids will have the chance to learn new art techniques and work on group projects. With a focus on creativity and self-expression, the club provides a supportive and playful environment for young artists enjoy making art together.

This club offers hands-on experience in the kitchen. Participants will learn essential cooking skills, explore exciting recipes from around the world, and discover the importance of nutrition and food safety. With guidance, kids will build confidence as they create delicious dishes to share with family and friends.

Dive into imagination and crafting, using paper, cardboard, and other materials to make unique projects. We will have fun developing important skills along the way. As you cut, fold, and glue, you’ll enhance your motor skills, explore math concepts through measuring and shapes, and experiment with paint and other materials to bring your ideas to life.

Debate Club offers a dynamic platform for students to hone their public speaking, critical thinking, and persuasive argumentation skills. Through structured debates, discussions, and workshops, members will explore current events, ethical dilemmas, and global issues. The club emphasizes research, reasoning, and respectful dialogue, helping students develop confidence in articulating their viewpoints.

In DI, students work together in teams to solve open-ended STEAM challenges designed to teach the creative process. The creative process is a step-by-step approach that helps students better understand problems and ask better questions, come up with solutions, learn from failure, and celebrate their achievements. In going through this process, kids learn vital life and career skills - creative thinking, critical thinking, public speaking, and collaborative problem-solving - that help them feel empowered and set them up for success in the future.

Our Trailblazer engineers will use their STEM mindset and high-level thinking skills as they build and code. At various levels, students will work with LEGO Essential Spike and Wonder robots to exploring tech challenge robotics through automation and engineering. We’re here to foster creativity and problem-solving prowess.

Sports will be a club that covers a wide variety of sports throughout the semester. Instead of focusing on one sport, this club will feature a rotation of sports from learning the rules of the game to playing the game both individually and as a team with other classmates. This will provide an introduction to each sport to give a better idea of interest level going forward. Sports include: soccer, basketball, football, golf, and more!

Theatre Club offers an opportunity for students to explore their passion for drama and the performing arts. Participants will engage in acting workshops, script readings, and stage production, learning essential skills in voice, movement, and improvisation.
